THIS IS AN OPEN MIC FOR EVERY KIND OF POET AND EVERY KIND OF POETRY.

WHERE WE’RE GOING WITH THIS is for the entire audience to rank their 2 or 3 favorite poets at each open mic.   They become poets become the Features ( 6 minutes) for the next open mic.    In April, all the featured poets can compete to be one of four  featured poets for the 2019 PM SHOW: POETS & MUSICIANS, where they get paid for their poetry. Once they are picked,  the open mic for 2020  begins the cycle again.

To keep everyone happy during the summer there’s great A/C  plus good food and drink.  AND Public Poetry will pick up the drink tab for one lucky person!!!
